RACE DAY PAKRING - PLEASE PARK IN THE LOTS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF OCOTILLO ROAD (DO NOT PARK IN THE VILLAGE HEALTH CLUB PARKING LOTS).

Wednesday, October 25: If you can no longer attend, this is the final day to transfer your entry to another participant.  Please use the TRANSFER LINK for complete details.

Saturday, October 28:
1:00pm - 4:00pm Optional Early Packet Pickup available at the Village Health Club, 4200 S Alma School Rd, Chandler.  PLEASE HAVE YOUR QR READY TO RECEIVE YOUR RACE BIB. You also welcome to pick up packets for others by providing their QR code. QR codes are sent automatically from HangdogRunning.com at the time of registration to the email address provided. QR codes are also sent via text to the mobile number provided.


Sunday, October 29:
6:00am - 7:00am Packet Pickup & ID check available at the start/finish in the parking lot area of the Shops at Ocotillo. (corner of W Ocotillo & Alma & School Road). PLEASE HAVE YOUR QR READY FOR FASTER PICKUP.  Any shirts not picked up by 7:00am will be made available for shirt exchanges. Please note any race related items (shirts, medals, etc.) will NOT be mailed to those that do not attend, and finisher medals are only given to those complete the event.  

7:00am PACKET PICKUP OFFICIALLY CLOSES- in order for us to start the event on time, you must pick up your packet by 7:00am.  If you do not pick up your packet by 7:00am we cannot guarantee you will receive your packet. Please plan accordingly.  

7:30am: Run/walk start. For everyone's safety, anyone pushing a stroller must start in the back.

Q: What if it rains on race day?
A: The race will take place rain or shine.


Q: Where should I park?
A: : Please use parking spots in the Shops at Ocotillo, and across Ocotillo Road at the Holiday Inn. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE HEALTH CLUB AS THIS AREA IS RESERVED FOR MEMBERS ONLY.


Q: Can a friend pick up my packet for me on Saturday?
A: Absolutely! Please provide them with your QR Code to avoid any delays.  


Q: Can I exchange my shirt for a different size?
A: All shirts have been ordered based on the selection you chose when you registered. If you need to exchange your size, it an be done on a first come/first serve basis 7:00am race morning.  If you need to exchange your shirt for any reason, please do so at the event as we cannot make changes once the event is over.


Q: I am entered in the event but can no longer attend, what are my options?
A: This event does not offer refunds or deferrals. If you are registered for the event, you agreed to the no refund and no deferral policy prior to submitting your online registration. This includes those who experience illness, injury or any other condition that may prevent them from participating in the event. However, we do allow you to transfer your race bib to another participant.  All transfers are available through Wednesday, October 25th. After that time, all transfer options are completely closed (sorry, no exceptions). Shirts and any other event related merchandise will NOT be mailed to those that do not attend. If you would like to transfer your race bib to another participant, please complete the TRANSFER REQUEST LINK.


Q: What is race etiquette?
A: In an effort to ensure the best experience for all participants, we ask that runners comply with standard race etiquette. This includes, lining up at the starting line according to the expected race pace, giving right of way to faster runners along the course, strollers and walksers starting in the back, and following guidelines given by race officials and volunteers.  


Q: Does my race bib need to be visible?
A: Your official participant bib, which displays your race number, must be fully visible at all times and worn on the FRONT of your torso on your outermost garment. The timing device is attached to the back of your bib. 


Q: My dog is my running partner, can he/she come?
A: Sorry, but for the safety and comfort of others,  and to adhere to necessary insurance requirements, no furry friends are allowed on the course or in the party area.  

Q: Can I give my bib to someone else to use?
A: Running with someone else's race bib is strictly prohibited. It poses a big safety concern, and the race results would be inaccurate, possibly affecting someone else's standings. Anyone found using someone else's race bib will be disqualified.

Q: Where can I look up the race results?
A: When you finish your race, you can find your results on the scrolling monitors near the finish line. You can also text your bib number to the number found on the back of your bib to receive your time. A few minutes after you finish, preliminary results can also be found online at 131Results.com. Please check your results before you leave. You can pick up your age group award as soon as your results are posted. We cannot mail age group awards.


Q:Will there be awards for overall and age group winners?

A: Non-monetary awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners; and the top three overall male and female runners in each age group:  9 and under, 10-14, 11-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.  AWARDS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE EVENT. 



Q: I was unable to attend the race, can I still get my medal and shirt?
A: Shirts, medals, and all other race related items are part of your event ticket. If you cannot attend the race, you can pick up your race shirt at Packet Pickup. The only way to earn your finisher medal is to cross the finish line with us on Sunday morning.
