It's Race Week!

Winter Trail Frosty is almost here, and we can’t wait to see you out on the trails! Before you lace up and layer up, take a few minutes to review the important race-day details below so you arrive prepared, and ready to crush it!

WINTER TRAIL FROSTY 2026

Event location: 

Eagle Creek Park - 7602 Eagle Beach Drive, Indianapolis

Please note: Eagle Creek Park charges a park entrance fee. We strongly encourage carpooling to help speed up entry and reduce congestion. 

EVENT SCHEDULE:

• Wednesday, February 18: Last day to transfer your race bib to another participant.    TRANSFER LINK 
  
• Saturday, February 21:  Packet pickup 8:00 - 9:30am at the race start area. If you selected a race shirt, it must be picked up by 9:30 AM. Any shirts not claimed by 9:30 AM will be released for the shirt exchange or made available for purchase. PLEASE HAVE YOUR QR CODE READY!
  This is your ticket to the event and will speed up the check-in process.
• 9:30 AM: PACKET PICK UP CLOSED
• Race starts at 10:00am
• 11:45 AM Course closes to new lap starts (Half Marathon participants will not be allowed to begin another lap after this time.)  
•  2:00 PM - Final race cutoff

Winter Reminder - This event takes place entirely outdoors. There will be no shelter areas available.

LIVE EVENT ONLY

Winter Trail Frosty is a live, in-person experience and we can’t wait to see you out there! Because of the nature of the event, we’re unable to ship race-related items, including shirts or finisher medals.

Finisher medals are awarded to participants who cross the finish line on race day. So come join us, embrace the crisp winter air, enjoy the adventure, and celebrate at the finish line!

Q: Will the race be cancelled if it rains or snows?
A: Welcome to winter in Indy! This race will take place rain, snow, or sleet. Trail conditions may require course adjustments, but we plan to run! 

Q: I am entered in the event but can no longer attend, what are my options?
A: While we don’t offer refunds or deferrals (as agreed to during registration, including cases of illness or injury), we do allow race bib transfers through Wednesday, February 18th. After that date, all transfer options are closed so we can finalize race preparations - no exceptions. Please note that shirts and other event merchandise cannot be mailed to participants who do not attend. To transfer your bib to another runner, please complete the

 Q: Can I switch race distances?
A: Yes! If you need to change your race distance, please use the Distance Change Request LINK. An upgrade fee applies when moving from the quarter marathon to the half marathon.

Q: Is parking available?
A: Yes - parking is available near the start/finish area, but keep in mind Eagle Creek Park charges a park entrance fee. Carpooling helps save on fees and speeds entry. 

Q: Can I exchange my shirt for a different size?
A: Absolutely! You’ll receive the shirt size selected during registration. If you’d like to exchange sizes, visit the packet pickup table at 9:30 AM. Sizes and quantities are available first come, first served.  Please check your shirt fit before leaving,  exchanges are not available after the event.

Q: Is there a cut off time?
A: Yes. The course closes to new lap starts at 11:45 AM (half marathon runners may not begin a new lap after this time).  Final race cutoff is 2:00 PM.

Q: Are dogs allowed on the course? 

A: As much as we love them - no dogs are allowed on the course due to safety concerns.

Q: Where can I see my results?
A: Results will be displayed on scrolling monitors near the finish line once you complete your race. You can also text your bib number to the number listed on the back of your bib to receive your time.
Preliminary results will be posted online at 131Results.com shortly after you finish. Please pick up your age group award at the event.  Awards cannot be mailed.
